5/5/2026 - PEDAL TO PHOENIX STOPS BY THE MONTEREY PENINSULA
On Tuesday, May 5th, Team West Coast of Pedal to Phoenix will be stopping briefly for lunch and a short welcome ceremony at the Marina Public Library Community Room, 190 Seaside Circle in Marina, between 11:45 and 12:45. Pedal to Phoenix is a cycling initiative that raises awareness and builds community in support of people with PD, and is composed primarily of people with Parkinson’s from around the world and their care partners. The 7th World Parkinson Congress, also known as the WPC 2026, is returning to North America after ten years and will take place in Phoenix, Arizona. All members of the Parkinson’s community are invited to join and participate in one of the most uplifting fully inclusive international Parkinson’s conferences. The WPC 2026 opens its doors to neuroscientists, clinical researchers, clinicians (MD, RN, NP, PA, SW), rehabilitation specialists (PT, OT, SLP, MT), nutritionists, people with Parkinson’s, care partners and others.
